OUR WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS
Our website design process is simple and effective to deliver a website that truly works for your business in a timely manner.
PLANNING
CONNECT: In this beginning stage, we want to get to know you and your vision for your website. What are your passions for your business, who are the customers you are aiming to attract, and what is the message you want to relay? We’ll go over your current site (if you have one) and discuss your design preferences and technical requirements.
CONTENT: Since you are the expert in your field, it’s best if you provide the content and images for your website. If you’re unsure where to start, we are happy to make recommendations for the copy/text and can provide stock images, but we find that this information is always best coming from the business itself. If you’d prefer to completely hand this off to us, we do offer content writing for a fee.
Once this information is gathered and we’re on the same page, we’ll move forward to the design phase.
DESIGN
DEMO: We begin the design process by creating a live demo website with sample pages based on the information discussed in the planning phase. You will have access to the demo site via a private link. This method allows you to watch our progress in real time, throughout the entire design process, giving you complete control over your website.
DEVELOPMENT: Once you’ve approved the website demo pages, we’ll begin full development of your website adding your content and images. We encourage you to check-in on our progress throughout this phase to ensure that all of our goals are being met. We will also be testing the website for mobile repsonsivenss in this phase.
This is the most time intensive phase of the website design process. It typically takes about 5 to 7 business days to complete each page of a website.
LAUNCH
MIGRATION: When you are satisfied with your website, the launch process will begin. We will migrate all of the content from our demo site to your business domain to get your website live. We’ll make sure everything is configured correctly on the servers, test functionality carefully, and make sure all links are still pointing correctly.
MAINTENANCE: Our commitment to your website’s success doesn’t end here, actually it’s just beginning. There are many moving parts on a website’s “back end” that need regular attention and updating. So, once the design work is complete, the hosting and maintenance of your website is essential to keeping it secure, up to date, and gaining visibility.
We offer several web hosting and site management care plans designed to give you as much flexibility as you would like to keep your site performing optimally.

- Starter packages are designed for small businesses looking for a simple yet impressive one or two page website.
- Basic and Standard packages are designed for small to medium sized businesses looking for more pages, options, and customizations.
You can also browse our "LAYOUTS" page to get some ideas of design options for your website. Though each layout has its own niche, they call all be customized to your business. So think about the style of the website rather than the content.

This is the point of the process where we want to get to know you and your vision for your business or non-profit. This step is essential for creating a website that truly works for your business. But there’s zero pressure to work with us. You’re welcome to take the ideas we discuss and consider other options.

Gathering content is the first step in the web design process. Since you are the expert in your field, it’s best if you provide the content and images for your website.
We'll discuss this when we connect and make recommendations, but we find that websites are more authentic when this information comes from the business itself.
